Tam O' Shanter Door Stop

This is an antique door stop of Tam O' Shanter in cast iron, from the poem TamO' Shanter by Robert Burns. It was probably one of two, the other one being his drinking pal Souter Johnnie used for either double doors or back and front doors. It has a couple of pit marks which does not take anything away from what it is, but only adds to the age.
