If you really want to stand out in a crowd, then the Balmoral is the jacket for you. The Balmoral is a Victorian-style jacket and waistcoat - a classic piece of Highland wear - that was supplanted by the Argyll and the Prince Charlie.
This jacket is upscale and should be worn with a plain colour necktie that complements the kilt. Tartan ties are generally worn by pipers and drummers.
